Flatbed truck and trailer.
Here is another truck. This model was built
mid-1999, so I don't have many pictures. Also I don't remember all the
details. This was one of my first attempts at a mid-size
model with motors.
Powered by two motors, steering with a third. Turntable is powered by a
micromotor, but stabilizer arms operation is manual.

Decent view of the truck tractor. You can see the steering motor, one of the driving motors (in front of rear wheel) and one of the crane switches. |
|
The trailer has the air compressor inside the chassis, along with one air tank. You can see the three air rams
in the back to operate the dumper. An air hose goes back to the truck to provide air to the crane. |
|
Sky view of the truck. Notice the wire bundle going to the remote. I do not have enough medium wheels for the trailer,
so I had to use smaller wheels. Trailers often are lower than the truck anyway... |
|
Another side view of the truck. You can see the knob sticking out right behind the stabilizer leg; it is turned to raise/lower it. |
